Bernie's gritty style of play is a welcome addition to the Canucks. This jersey shows lighter wear with stick marks, board burns and small holes on the sleeves. There is some material snagging and loose threading throughout with very light pilling on the right cuff. In addition to having been worn on Trevor Linden Night on 12/17/2008, this Set 1 jersey was also worn when Bernier fought Dion Phaneuf on opening night (see video). This fight tore the back of the jersey where the fight strap is attached and there are now three large repairs (3.5" - 5") to re-secure it. The NHL-Meigray set patch is sewn inside the back hem and comes with the Canucks LOA.
