"Freeze" was the Sharks' 1994 #1 draft pick (11th overall) and fan favorite until he was packaged to Anaheim in deal for Teemu Selanne. It wouldn't be until he found his way to New Jersey in 2002-03 that he would attain hockey's highest achievement. There were many heroes during the Devils' 2003 Stanley Cup run and Jeff was arguably one of the biggest, having scored numerous clutch goals in both the Conference and Cup Finals series. He would spend his final NHL season with the Calgary Flames before moving on to play in Europe. This Set 3 jersey (his last NHL regular season jersey) shows lighter wear with scattered stick marks. Customizations include shortened sleeves that were first split at the cuffs then folded and hemmed under by approximately 2¼ inches. This item comes with impeccable authenticity as it bears the Meigray authentication patch sewn inside the hem and is accompanied by an Calgary Flames/Meigray LOA stating that it was worn by Jeff Friesen. I am also including a glossy 8x10 photo match (matched to several marks on the shoulder patch and numbers).
