A beautiful example of the increasingly rare knit purple/gold Kings jerseys. I'm partial to defenseman, especially those who aren't afraid to sacrifice the body. This jersey shows light game wear (probably has been dry-cleaned several times), but has multiple team repairs, some of them very large using extra pieces of material as reinforcement. Note that the "2" on the back is about a half-inch larger than the "8." I'm not sure why this is, and there is no sign of a number change. Obtained from Rich Ellis.
