For many seasons Patty struggled with the burdens of captaincy including relentless public scrutiny. After the 2008-09 season he was relieved of the "C" then immediately emerged as the team's leading scorer with a career-high 44 goals and a spectacular performance in the playoffs. This jersey shows lighter wear with light material snagging, scuffing and a team repair on the left sleeve. The most obvious characteristic is a small hole to the left of the breast numbering (photo-matched below, as well as to a loose thread on the crest). There is visible pilling in the sleeves and the team "game worn" patch is sewn inside the hem.
