While Darren's primary role is to grind and dispense justice, this fan favorite is also a gifted puck handler and capable scorer as evidenced by his dramatic Stanley Cup winning goal in 1997 and playoffs hat trick against Colorado in 2002. This jersey is from Darren's rookie season and shows a ton of game and
fight abuse. In addition to stick marks, the material around the
neck is stretched and there are visible signs of washed out blood
stains. The entire upper portion of the jersey is soiled from
numerous fights. There is a good chance that this was his first
NHL jersey since it lacks the sleeve inserts that became a regular
customization later in the season. The team stamp is screened onto the inside back
hem and "DMK" is written with black Sharpie on the fight
strap. Obtained directly from the team.
