One of a few German-born players in the NHL, Marco has been an integral part of the Sharks' offensive rebuilding effort. In addition to great scoring abilities, Marco flourishes on the Sharks' penalty kill unit because of his defensive prowess and uncanny ability to score shorthanded. He made his first All-Star appearance in 1999. This jersey shows light game use and features the Sharks 10th Anniversary patch on the right shoulder. This season CCM unfortunately abandoned the eye-catching dazzle sheen from the sleeves and replaced it with regular airknit material.
